If you haven’t skied or snowboarded in Canada then now is the time to try it out. With more snow falling more regularly through the season, so there is a better chance of powder than elsewhere. The slopes are mostly uncrowded and in many resorts you will hardly ever have to queue for a lift. Perhaps most importantly, the Canadians are very friendly.
