Mike, how's this for a review

Haus Harry is great. Mike at Born2ski sorted everything, even the snow, and the hospitality when we got there was second to none.

Would definitely go again.

All the best

Fantastic resort and accommodation.

Very homely hotel, clean rooms and great breakfast.

Great location, being at the first stop for the ski bus so you don't have to walk anywhere with your ski's. If you miss the last ski bus back up there are lots of taxi's around. We went with a group of adults this year but have booked with Born2ski again to take our children back to the Haus Scheibler next year.

We went in Jan 15-22 this year, a group of five guys all up for a good ski and a run around the bars at night.

We stayed in the Kramerwirt Annexe which was faultless with plenty of hot water, clean and comfortable beds.

Our half boards meals were at the Kramerwirt Hotel which was five star I think and the food excellent, service very friendly and the beer tab at the end of the week very reasonable. Infact the beer there in general not much more than England.

Slopes were varied and interesting with something for everybody with a great snowboard park. Zell am Zeller was our favourite area, loved the skiing there.

Bars and clubs excellent so all in all fault less and we would definitely go there again.

Had a brilliant last minute, end of season week away in St Anton. Haus Harry that was arranged by Mike at Born2ski was absolutely brilliant.
Well worth a visit, and would go back anytime. Thank you. Chris.

We have visited this resort twice in 'peak season' and on both occasions found the slopes relatively quiet. Also great snow - sure resort with lots of open blue and red runs, slightly limited off piste and challenging runs but a very straight forward trip to Solden (20mins on free ski- bus) opens up a huge new area with some more challenging ski-ing.

A very friendly resort with excellent quailty and great value restaurants in the village and on the slopes.
Definitely a place we would return to.

Thank you to Mike at Born2Ski for his excellent recommendation of both resort and chalet.

Chalet Hotel Christophorus - conveniently placed to allow ski-in to the boot room!!, comfortable and spacious rooms and on both occasions hospitable and capable staff.

Mike at Born2ski sorted us out with a long weekend skiing in Morzine and got us a great hotel for the price, The Hotel Le Petit Dru. Transfers from Geneva very efficient. Sadly snow was lacking in Morzine this year, very slushy, but we were really pleased that the hotel was located on the road to Avoriaz with the bustop right outside, so we spent most of our time in Avoriaz which was fabulous, snow much better and skied to Switzerland. Hotel food was pretty good and the waiters were really nice. Morzine is a great town for shopping, eating and drinking.

Mike cant do enough to help, he is very responsive.

All I wanted was a quiet, romantic long-weekend away with my wife. Some gentle skiing, some 'us' time and a few drinks in intimate bars near the slopes. Working long hours, in high pressured jobs and with a beautiful baby daughter, does not allow much down-time to relax and reflect on where we are at with our Life-Plan.

Mike at Born2ski booked our party into Haus Harry in St Anton.

So when we rolled into St Anton Am Arlberg and saw the pretty Tyrolean village, nestling proudly in the valley floor with 2800m peaks towering above, we felt confident we had made a good choice that suited our holiday needs.....But how wrong we were!!

We clicked into our skis on Sunday afternoon and within an hour were mixing pistes with off-piste. Blue and red combinations were punctuated with a little side-country powder! As the sun started to set we headed down the slopes towards the town, passing a number of bars with live music and infectious atmospheres on larges outdoor terraces. By the third bar we felt we ought to indulge, stopping for a drink that lasted from 4.30pm til after 7pm, socialising with everyone reliving their ski-exploits from a day on 'the hill'.
The week just developed, as the first day had, as it went on with us enjoying everything St Anton had to offer!

Oh yes... and as for the relaxing, low-key weekend away...we will catch up with ourselves on the beach in summer. There is to much to miss out on if you don't indulge the ski and apres-ski sides of St Anton and Austria!!

....as for the Life-Plan....that is definitely off-piste...and I wouldn't have it any other way!

We stayed in Haus Harry St Anton which is an excellent Bed and Breakfast Hotel, which is only a short walk into town. Mike at Born2ski arranged everything for us from the transfers to ski hire. We arrived in resort at 12.30 and were, skiing by 1.30. We had a fantastic time with great skiing and nightlife. We would certainly recommend the Haus Harry and resort.

We stayed at Chalet Eira in Morzine and I thouroughly reccommend them to anyone. The accomodation was fab, the food far exceeded expectatons and the staff couldn't do more for us following an accident my son had resulting in a broken leg. Morzine is a lovely resort and although the snow (like the rest of Europe this season) wasn't great, their runs were kept brilliantly. We skied at Avoriaz as that was where the kids lessons were arranged, and the snow was much better there due to the height. The Avoriaz Ski school was also great, they accomodated our medical emergencies and the instructors were fabulous. Looking forward to going back for a less eventful holiday. Recommended and All booked and arranged by Mike at Born2ski.

Morzine is a large(ish) town in the Portes du Sol skiing region. I've been twice now and love it. Only 45mins transfer from Geneva, good night life, with a high proportion of visitors from the UK (not sure if thats a good thing?)

Our Hotel the Le Petit Cheval Blanc, was everything we could have hoped for given it's two star rating.

The catering was particularly good. The snow wasn't briliant when we went, but the pistes were in remarkably good shape thanks to the snow machines and bashers. Off piste sadly was a no-go on this occasion but nobody can be blamed for that!

Recommend Morzine and Le Petit Cheval Blanc for a long weekend.

We stayed at the Hotel Tauernhof in Kaprun which was lovely.
We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were very friendly. We also thouroughly enjoyed the food. An 8 course gala dinner on our first evening and 5 courses thereafter. It is very central and close to ski hire shops and the bus stop.

The Kaprun Kitzsteinhorn Glacier was in excellent condition and we got lots of new snow so the skiing was fabulous.

Mike at Born2ski organised everything and was available to help at all times. This made it so much easier for us.

A great place to ski for families and those enjoying large wide pistes.

Some really fun red runs and the black/red aiguille rouge from the top is beautiful and challenging.

Chiesa is such beautiful, traditional small Italian 'GEM' of a ski resort, an unspoilt natural oasis that proved a perfect choice for our entire ski party. Our age group ranged from 5 to 65 and all ski levels in between, yet all were sufficiently catered for amid the rugged charm sitting majestically in the Italian Dolomites. Do not be put off by it's lower overall piste coverage because it will more than surprise you with it's charming character, friendly staff at every turn, stunning surroundings and the unique personal touch sometimes missing from it's 'larger' rivals elsewhere. All lifts are 4x seat chairs which shuttle skiers efficiently, quickly and mainly without a queue swiftly to the next run. This resort is extremely friendly, quiet in comparison to others, superb value for your money, and so charming it will definitely leave you wanting to return year after year.

Our entire trip was tailored perfectly by Mike at Born2Ski, from the airport transfers, hotel, lift pass, ski shuttle bus and ski hire packs with such ease, all we had to do was turn up and enjoy the fun!

Second visit to Les Arcs ski area. Stayed at Plan Peisey so great access to both Les Arcs and La plagne through the Vanoise express. Stayed at Arc 2000 last year but preferred Pan Peisey for location, standard of accommodation and access to two huge ski areas very easily.

Trip booked through Mike at Born2Ski who took care of everything (and with 4 kids in the party there was plenty to take care of!) Great company for sorting out all the detail and making sure you get what you need.

Stayed with Esprit in the Ecuriel chalet - great staff in chalet, through childcare and in ski school. Nothing ever a problem with Esprit - they really make sure you enjoy your time in Pan Peisey.
Great conditions which always helps and some excellent uncrowded piste skiing through whole resort (especially local to Pan Peisey). Very little waits for lifts and all in all a great holiday

Hotel Tirol

A small hotel with really friendly service. We were made to feel very welcome, all the staff spoke excellent English. We particularly enjoyed the food, which was much better than anticipated. We have travelled quite extensively over the years and my husband and I felt that the quality of meals we had there were some of the best we have ever had! The breakfast had hot food, which was unusual for a European hotel and an excellent selection of breads and jams etc. Dinner was five courses, with a soup, starter, buffet salad, choice of main meal and dessert. All the food was beautifully presented and the soups were quite delicious.

The location was reasonable and as good as any other in the village. The bus stop was just a couple of minutes away and one could get to the slopes within 30-45 minutes (changing bus at the bus station). If you timed it right, you could get a direct bus right up to the ski slope. We particularly enjoyed coming back after our tiring ski to relax in the open-air pool. It was quite an amazing feeling to be out in the open surrounded by beautiful mountains and watch the snow come down on our heads – this is something we have not experienced before and the kids in particular really enjoyed it. The Jacuzzi within the indoor part of that pool helped to ease our aching joints. The spa and sauna area were relatively new and beautifully maintained, there was a lovely room where one can sleep wrapped up in soft woolly blankets. Again, the facilities were of a much higher standard than we had expected. We had anticipated going to the Alpen Therme in the town centre, however did not need to do this as we had everything we needed at the hotel.

Although the rooms were small and basically furnished, the hospitality, food and facilities more than made up for this. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

All booked and recommended by Mike at Born2Ski who helped with the whole booking process.

Good location, right next to piste. Got busy but neighbouring resorts easy to get to and quite. Hotel Du Col 20 yards from piste, comfortable, good food and friendly staff. Not much to do at night, but too knakered after skiing. 90 mins bus transfer from Turin airport.

Lovely town located near the Swiss Border , you actually ski half the time in France and half the time in Switzerland .

It had'nt snowed for a while but the pistes were still good

Great resort for beginners and intermediates , the most challenging run is "the Wall" which is steep with really big moguls .

Accomodation was good and the apres livley , especially the Budha Bar .

Downside is getting on to the piste from Morzine to Avoriaz takes a while and is easy to miss the last lift back and then there is a bus or a 50 euro taxi

Alagna has to be visited to be truly appreciated. This tiny little out of the way village has some of the most epic off piste skiing in Europe. The link with Gressoney and Champoluc makes it an intermediate's dream as well with miles of often deserted pistes for those that don't want to venture into the backcountry. People really should gat a guide and head out though as the terrain is not all "fall and die" stuff with many flattering runs through bowls and between the well spaced pistes.

The village itself is a charmingly rustic affair with a real sense of community that is missing from so many of the larger resorts. If you are after thumping apres-ski then Alagna is probably not for you, but a good time can still be had with a couple of bars open until you leave. The Cafe de les Guides and the Bacher being worthy of note, the latter in particular due to a phenomenal wine cellar.

We travelled with Ski Monterosa, a boutique outfit that provided a wonderfully personal service and took care of the needs of a group of 8 with consumate professionalism. The company is evidently making a great name for itself as another English group we bumped into were returning for their third trip in a row!

The people, the atmosphere, the skiing and truly stunning backdrop of the Monte Rosa region make Alagna a winner. Tell your friends, just not too many!
