Chiesa is such beautiful, traditional small Italian 'GEM' of a ski resort, an unspoilt natural oasis that proved a perfect choice for our entire ski party. Our age group ranged from 5 to 65 and all ski levels in between, yet all were sufficiently catered for amid the rugged charm sitting majestically in the Italian Dolomites. Do not be put off by it's lower overall piste coverage because it will more than surprise you with it's charming character, friendly staff at every turn, stunning surroundings and the unique personal touch sometimes missing from it's 'larger' rivals elsewhere. All lifts are 4x seat chairs which shuttle skiers efficiently, quickly and mainly without a queue swiftly to the next run. This resort is extremely friendly, quiet in comparison to others, superb value for your money, and so charming it will definitely leave you wanting to return year after year.

Our entire trip was tailored perfectly by Mike at Born2Ski, from the airport transfers, hotel, lift pass, ski shuttle bus and ski hire packs with such ease, all we had to do was turn up and enjoy the fun!

Hotel La Lanterna is without doubt the perfect place to stay in Chiesa. This quaint family run hotel showers you with hospitality, and warmth from the first step across their door.

Run by the wonderful Gianfranco and his wife, it sits a very short shuttle ride or 10 min walk to the gondola making it a perfect place to call home. Serving traditional home cooked meals, helping you start and finish each day, coupled with the comfort and extreme value of their bar make it tempting to sit all night chatting about your days ski stories night after night.
