Park City in USA Resort Guide
Park City is in the heart of Utah which some sauy has the greatest snow on earth. Great snow and excellent terrain is why this resort has proven so popular over the years. There is also an impressive array of lodges, restaurants, clubs and retail shops. With expansive bowls, groomed World Cup runs, and friendly intermediate terrain, Park City and Canyons resort are a tough combination to beat.
Park City was a host to the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics for both the bobsled and ski jumping at the Olympic Park, which is still used as a training facility. You can still visit, and even try the bobsled yourself!
The two resorts were linked in 2016 and since then Park City Mountain has been the USA's biggest ski area, as well as one of the most popular! Park City’s Town Lift provides the Old Town with ski-in/ski-out access. Canyons resort is Utah’s largest ski mountain with eight peaks, sprawling tree runs and a world-class terrain park.
Beginning as a silver mining town, Park City is now a year-round destination with plenty of activites in Summer as well as Winter.
Try to book non-stop flight from London into Salt Lake City if you can. Then there is just a 35 minute transfer into Park City, making the journey easy after a tranatlantic flight
